People have been skating down Mt. Tabor for well over 30 years. And for good reason! The road is smooth, the view is awesome and it’s closed to traffic every Wednesday. After a quick hike to the top you can check out Run 1 (smoother, bigger turns) or Run 2 (rougher, more technical). Either way you are guaranteed to have fun.
Keep an eye out for cyclists, pedestrians and mom pushing strollers. And it’s also a good idea to be friendly towards the park security (if you ask kindly they can open the gates for you).

Be friendly to others at Tabor. Follow rules and laws. Represent skaters well. We don’t want to lose the right to skate. Respect gets respect.
