That's a state park. Oregon only has two National Parks. Crater Lake NP and Lewis and Clark National Historic Park. Not trying to be a d*** or anything, just really like National Parks.

Ok its a state park... But anyway its rad.
its not too fast probably like 30-40 if your trying. But the pavement is smooth and its got a grip of fun corners.
I dont have pics bit I can get some. Someone stole my gopro but I will try and get a vid. Im going to go up again either tomorrow or tuesday hit me up if anyonr want to come.

The Banks-Vernonia trail is good times too. It's an old railroad grade but going down to Banks from where it connects with the Stub-Stewart park you don't have to push much and some you can pick up some decent speed on some parts. I was there in the summer and it was packed so I didn't try the slopes *in* the park but I still had fun on the trail.

Btw, if you schedule far enough you can snag a cabin with futons so you can save yourself having to throw up a tent or sleep on pads or the ground. The cabins are clean, well maintained and equipped with electricity and heaters(but no A/C. One cabin is dog-friendly meaning you can keep your dog(s) in the cabin with you without breaking any campground rules or dealing with complaints from other campers. I believe there are plans in the work to make more cabins dog friendly. The cabins are ~$10 more a night than a tent spot but worth it IMO.

stubs been blown. a bunch of kooks wearing skinny jeans and zumies snapbacks and sector nines tried to bomb it during the summer while the place was packed, hit a grad rail. made a big deal cause there vaginas got a little roadrash and now they dont allow skaters on the main road, especially during the summer. oh and they thought it would be cool to post a video on youtube with ''stub stewart longboarding crash'' in the name. don't ride stub during active hours and not more than a few people. it also helps if you pay for a spot, have some people on bikes, and are extra nice to the staff. AND NO SUMMER RIDING!!!
