A study done in early 2010 - an interesting read on helmet aerodynamics and drafting positions related to the stance of the person in front. Nothing really new here, but an interesting read nonetheless.

I'm bummed that of the two studies I know of, both of them have really only tested helmet drag coefficients. Someone really needs to test different knee positions (by ankle, halfway up calf, tucked in with other knee, parallel stance, etc.) so we can see the different drag coefficients of tucks as well as the wake.

Definitely a good read, and yes I agree more tests can be done of those various tucks...but then again that could create an edge for those who studied them versus using our instincts to draft and pass...hmm very interesting.
