About

Established in February of 2008 PdxDownhill was designed as a resource for the growing downhill scene in Portland, Oregon. Originally just a simple forum, the PdxDownhill website was a crucial tool in organizing regular sessions and events around the Portland area. Over the years PdxDownhill has gained an even greater roll in the Portland scene by spearheading dozens of outlaw events. The website has grown over the years as well. In 2009 we added a blog to the site that allowed us to showcase the video, photo, and event contributions of the PdxDownhill crew. In 2010 The blog and forums were integrated into one site and a contest calendar was added as a resource for everyone interested in any of the major downhill events throughout the year. Now in 2011 we have stepped it up once again. Our new site includes a more robust event calendar, an integrated blog and forum, regular video and photo updates, a mapped listing of local hills and parks, interviews with the legends of downhill, a storefront to pick up all your favorite PdxDownhill merchandise, and a tour bus to get the Portland scene out to all the major events of the 2011 season. PdxDownhill is determined to help stimulate the growth of the Portland skate community, while also encouraging good community values and cooperation throughout that scene. We plan to continue growing with the needs of our community, and we would like to thank everyone who has helped make that possible.

To everyone who has made PdxDownhill a part of your life over these past years, Thank you. We are doing this for you!
