Switchback Halloween Skate

I almost forgot how much fun it is to skate in the rain on Switchbacks… Actually I probably tried to forget. But despite the weather there was a decent turn out of skaters who were ready to shred it up on a soggy/leafy day at Switchbacks.
While the attendance was good the costume participation was a little lack luster (do it better!). My guess is that most people didn’t want to get their fancy halloween costume wet. Still, we had some good ones. Emmet took home 2nd place in the costume contest with his “Shredding Banana” costume and Ethan Kroll took home first with his “Pdx Downhill Skater” costume. The judges could have been biased, but the Pdx Skater was pretty badass.
