From CathlametCorral.com:
The Cathlamet Downhill Corral Festival is a three day event in the small but welcoming town of Cathlamet, Washington. Cathlamet is about 90 minutes NW of Portland Oregon, on the Columbia River.
Friday night there will be the slide competition and the tight slalom. Saturday morning there will be a 7.5 mile push race on nearby Puget Island, followed by the Sidewalk Showdown, (last year’s Mystery Slalom Race) around noon, and later that afternoon a four man skate boardercross event brought to us by The Maryhill Ratz. Sunday will be an exciting downhill race through town (ramps included). For those concerned about ramps in a downhill course, this year the ramps will have a smoother, longer transition and there will be a bypass provided on a slower line. This is a fully sanctioned race with closed streets, hay bales and shuttles. A contribution from this year’s 2011
profits will again be put toward improving the skate park in town.
